WEDDING PLANNING

What are the steps to plan a beach wedding with Princess Wedding co?

Our goal is to make your beach wedding planning as simple and straightforward as possible. All of our brides have constant access to their coordinator via email of phone. Please read our 10 step Planning Process for more info.

Who is going to perform our ceremony?

After reserving your date officiate who is going to be performing your ceremony will contact you directly. We only work with the best officiates in the Destin, Panama City Beach, and St Augustine Florida areas. Based on your preference it can be male or female. You will have unlimited access to your wedding officiate with any questions concerning vows or marriage license. He will also provide you with different options for wedding vows to choose from, or will assist you with preparing custom vows.

What is the best time for beach wedding ceremony?

From my experience best times for beach wedding ceremony are either morning (8-10 am) or sunset weddings (at least one hours before sunset). Why? Because weather is cooler and less people are on the beach during those times. Prime time for beach goers is between 10am and 5 pm, so you want to avoid this time frame. Here is more info on best time for beach wedding ceremony.

What do we do in case it rains?

Probably the biggest fear of planning a beach wedding is the possibility of rain. What our team will do: On the day of your wedding Princess Wedding coordinator will check the local Destin and Panama City Beach area weather forecast hourly. If there is a higher than 40% chance of rain, she will call you with few options/suggestions. Typically the rain-fall on Florida’s panhandle coast is very brief (15-30 minutes), so most brides tend to just wait it out. However, if there happens to be a larger storm the bride can opt to push back the wedding one day. Some pavilions have indoor sites where the wedding can be moved to also. It is ultimately the bride’s decision and our wedding coordinators here at Princess Wedding want your day to be just perfect and help in every way possible. Here is a link to post on our blog with more information about beach weddings and rain.
