It is officially fall! With all the beauty fall brings, it is a perfect time to enhance your beach wedding color palette with colors like yellow, orange, purple, red, brown, and gold.
It is easy to spruce up your wedding with color simply by having the right flowers. Many flowers can be found in fall hues. One in particular is the dahlia. Dahlias are perfect because they blossom in the fall season and even come in different sizes. Other great fall flowers are antique hydrangeas and crimson calla lilies. Adding berries or lotus pods to your flower mixture offers another nice touch.
Have fun with your decorations too. Use the naturalness of the beach to enhance your decorations. You can place mini pumpkins on the tables as centerpieces, or use brown tiki torches to keep the area well lit and warm. You can also place sea shells in vases and top it off with fall scented candles.
Planning a Destin wedding on the beach may lead to concerns about the weather. The fall is a great time to have a beach wedding because you are avoiding all of the sweltering heat. The average temperature in the Destin area in October is 82 degrees. Your guests will be much more comfortable sitting outside. I love the idea that one of our brides used for her fall Destin beach wedding. Instead of favors she purchased white pashminas for the ladies. We draped them over their chairs. It looked gorgeous and ladies were warm and comfortable. It definitely was a hit of the wedding.
